What's going on at the Farm this Spring? We've put together a great Spring Field Trip for you and your class to enjoy! Adore our animal babies, venture into the timber for a neat nature hike, try milking a cow in the playground and get hands-on teaching about planting and growing. We can even pull out the hay wagon for you if you'd like a ride! We're a REAL working farm and we love sharing it with you - and teaching you about it!
WHO?
All students are welcome! The cost is only $3.00 per student. For an additional $1 per student, we offer hay wagon rides. (No charge for accompanying school employees)
WHAT?
- Learn about planting and growing HANDS ON! We could use some help planting our pumpkins!
- The Critter Coral hosts lots of new baby farm animals just waiting to see YOU!
- Run off some energy in the playground!
- Farmer Steve would love to lead you on a nature hike into the timber! Learn about trees, animal tracks, the creek, and nature sounds. You never know what you might see, hear, or touch!
- Hay wagon rides are always exciting and for an extra $1 per student, we'd love to take you on one!
- A picnic area is available if you'd like to bring a sack lunch.
Since all our Spring activities are in the great outdoors, we'll be glad to reschedule on rainy days. Kids love to splash through the puddles, but…

"Rain, rain, go away! Come again another day!"
WHEN?
Anytime between April 15th thru May 18th. Plan to spend 2 hours for the field trip (an extra ½ hour for your picnic lunch). If you'd like to enjoy a hay wagon ride, plan another ½ hour for that.
WHERE?
Centrally located between McCune, St. Paul & Girard, KS (call or click here for directions).
WHY?
- Great Time! (Bring your camera to catch it in pictures)
- You'll learn something too!
- Get out of your classroom after a long winter and learn hands-on in the great outdoors!
HOW?
Call Steve & Ruth Zimmerman at 620-632-4294 to schedule your field trip or for more information. Ya'all come!!!
